Habilitation Provider in Cincinnati

For many years, EMRI LLC has helped take care of countless individuals, providing them with the tools and assistance they need to find stability and a sense of independence in their lives. In addition to providing transportation for disabled individuals needing a safe ride to doctors’ offices, grocery stores, and other endeavors, we also provide reliable habilitation services. Learn more about how we can help you, a loved one, or someone in your state program with our habilitation services.

What is Habilitation?

Put simply, habilitation services entail helping a person improve upon or learn critical life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, and performing other basic tasks that most of us take for granted. Most often, people in need of habilitation and home care services tend to be disabled persons who have suffered some sort of traumatic injury or illness, such as a stroke or head injury. Alternatively, it could be individuals who suffer from autism or have learning difficulties.

Habilitation services provide individuals with a wide range of issues to learn different, critical skills while assisting them in bringing a sense of stability to their day-to-day lives.

Supported Living Services in Cincinnati

EMRI LLC specializes in providing vocational habilitation services for individuals with all sorts of needs. Unlike other providers, we do not utilize a one-size-fits-all approach to our home care services. Instead, we work closely with the individual, his or her loved ones, or the county or state worker handling his or her case to design a custom planed tailored to suit their individual needs.

Take a look at some of the more common ways we help the individuals in our care:

  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Hygiene Assistance
  • Transportation and Assistance for Medical Appointments
  • Help With Cooking and Eating
  • Budget Management
  • Planning for Social Outings
  • And more!

Our services are available 24 hours a day and 7 day a week for the individuals in our care.

Most importantly, we provide the individual in our care and their loved ones or caseworkers with a real feeling of peace of mind knowing they will be cared for and in a caring environment. Also, they know that important daily tasks will be attended to and that their life will have some touch of stability and balance. This is thanks to our dedicated and diligent workers who make it their professional mission to help the individuals at our facility receive the care they deserve.

Vocational Training Services

What’s more, we understand that you can never “confuse hope with a plan.” You can’t hope that individuals get better at completing life skills or have the stability they need to live properly day to day. Rather, there must be a plan and program in place, and like a sports coach who game plans to help their players achieve success, we have created a tried, tested, and true vocational program that is specially designed to help the adults in our care achieve real results and grow their skillsets.

We work closely with the individuals in our care to train them in different job skills so they can pursue community employment. We’ll provide them with the valuable work experience they need to get a job and add consistency to their lives by having employment. Employment provides more than just income; it provides a social structure for the persons in our care, and it provides them with challenges to overcome. This gives them a chance to grow, and it provides them with a place to go and with a sense of purpose.

Notably, we have a network of partners of local companies who help us place the individuals in our care with employment. They can even make money while they train!
