Supported Living Services for Disabled Adults

EMRI LLC specializes in providing adults with disabilities with the supported living care and services they need to thrive. Throughout the Cincinnati area, we have several facilities that provide disabled adults with a high level of care, including our Township Avenue facility.

Our supported living employees work tirelessly to help the adults in our care enjoy the lives they deserve. Notably, we tailor our services to suit the exact needs of each induvial living in our supported living facility. We help the adults in our care daily in a wide range of areas, including but not limited to:

  • Hygiene Assistance
  • Medication Assistance
  • Cleaning Assistance
  • Cooking and Meal Prep Assistance
  • Transportation and Help With Medical Appointments

Remember, we tailor our assisted living services to meet the specific needs of each disabled adult entrusted to our care. We also provide them with opportunities to enjoy social and community outings, and our supported living services are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

All of our employees have been thoroughly trained and have the expertise needed to provide the adults in our care with the structure and personalized assistance they need. We also help teach the adults in our facilities how to do certain things for themselves, such as cooking or personal hygiene tips to help them become more and more independent and confident.

Our work is quite rewarding, as few things are more gratifying than watching the adults in our supported living facilities live a better, more structured, and safe life.

Day Program Services For Disabled Adults

EMRI LLC also provides daytime programs for disabled adults. The programs provide a slew of benefits. For starters, they provide the adults in our care with a safe, structured environment, and more importantly, with the assistance they need to perform important daily tasks, such as cooking and managing meals and going to and from doctors’ appointments.

In addition, our facility provides the adults in our care with a variety of social benefits. Whether it’s working on new artwork and crafts, playing games individually or in groups, or going to fun events within the community, the individuals we care for have a great deal of fun. Sometimes we even have special guests come to entertain us, and we provide opportunities to go volunteer, learn new skills, and do other fun, educational things.

Vocational Training Programs for Disabled Adults in the Cincinnati Area

It’s so difficult and strenuous trying to find work for adults living with developmental disabilities, especially when a potential fit for employment requires that they have previous work experience. As such, EMRI LLC provides vocational training programs for disabled adults that provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to take and succeed at a job.

Without question, finding employment is a different and much more arduous process for individuals with developmental disabilities. Therefore, we’ve designed a special, custom vocational program that is uniquely constructed to help the adults in our program grow incrementally and provide them with the confidence they need for community employment after completing the training process. Moreover, we provide them with the actual skills they’ll need to complete the tasks that will be asked of them at their place of employment.

We network with many businesses, organizations, and community programs to find job placement for the individuals in our program once they’ve completed their training. As a matter of fact, many of the adults in our program even get paid while training. Our program is built upon having a “growth mindset,” and we constantly set goals for the adults in our program to achieve. By going through our program, adults with developmental disabilities can show prospective employers that they’re reliable and can fit into the dynamics of a group setting.
