Goal of respite care services: EMRI LLC offers planned or emergency respite care to Individuals being served by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Services.

Referral Process:
Log onto our website at www.emrihomecare.com and click on the drop box in the upper right-hand corner. Click on the respite care tab and complete the intake request and hit the submit button;

Level of Supervision: Individual’s level of supervision must be communicated initially to ensure health and safety. EMRI will provide drop in staff, pass medication, provide meal preparation assistance with laundry and transportation to and from medical appointments.

EMRI and AOU are not responsible for any personal items that may be damaged, lost or stolen.

Respite Housing Needed
Individual: Has a Provider

AOU LLC. Can provide housing opportunities in various places to meet the needs of individuals who may or may not require accessible accommodations. Individuals will be required to pay for housing and sign a lease agreement and or a residency agreement.

PROPERTY DAMAGE:

The Individual(s), guardian and provider will be liable for any damage to property, trash removal, broken blinds, and appliances, windows, doors and locks. Normal wear and tear is considered, however damaged items will have to be replaces and paid for by the Lessee.

RENT AND DEPOSIT:

A deposit and first month‘s rent must be provided to AOU LLC. Via cashier’s check and money order made out to: AOU LLC.

INITIAL INSPECTION:

Prior to move in date an inspection will be provided.

RESIDENCY TERM:

The residency agreement will be on a month-to-month basis. Any property destruction may terminate the residency agreement.

PEST CONTROL:

If the unit has any signs of insects, or rodents and AOU LLC has to hire pest control professional the Lessee, Guardian and or Provider will be responsible for expenses incurred by the Lessee.

INSPECTION:

AOU reserves the right to inspect the unit every 90 days to ensure properties are being maintained by the Lessee and or the provider.
